Coors Field is going to offer gluten-free food!

I read in the Daily Camera today that Coors field will have a gluten free food vendor! I am not sure when it will start, but it is exciting news for all Denver gluten free baseball fans!

Here is the Daily Camera's article-

Coors Field to offer

gluten-free food

DENVER -- Food vendor Aramark said Thursday it is opening a gluten-free concession stand at the home of the Colorado Rockies. Aramark says it's believed to be the first such stand in the major leagues.

Gluten is a protein particle in wheat, barley, rye and their derivatives. It can trigger reactions in people with celiac disease.

In addition to hot dogs, the new stand's gluten-free offerings include burgers, chicken sandwiches, brownies and, yes, beer.

The G Free Diet

By Elisabeth Hasselbeck
This book teaches you the basics. I enjoyed it. It would be helpful if your completely new to being gluten free. It is not a dry read, it is quit interesting.

Things I liked: It covered most topics on gluten allergies,
It has personal stories.

Things I disliked: I thought there would be more recipes, so that disappointed me.

Udi's Gluten free bread

I was shopping at Whole Foods market and came across Udi's gluten free bread. When I tried it I was amazed, its fantastic. You can find it at any Whole foods store in Boulder. I recommend the whole grain one! But the white sandwich bread is good too.
